Hostinger's builder is for people who want a website without thinking about hosting. You describe your business or pick one of its templates, the AI produces a first version, and you adjust it in a drag-and-drop editor. Hosting, a domain for the first year and email accounts come in the same purchase.

It's one of the cheapest ways to get a small site online. The low numbers come with conditions, though, and the most important one is printed in small type under each plan.

Read the renewal line first

US prices on October 5, 2026. Each plan is paid upfront for the whole term.

All three include a custom domain for the first year, 400+ templates and hosting. The advertised monthly rate is the four-year total divided by 48, and Hostinger notes that all plans are paid upfront.

The renewal prices are the real long-term cost. Premium costs $143.52 for its first four years. After that, a single year at the $10.99 renewal rate costs about $132. Budget for that year now, and set a reminder before the term ends.

What the AI builds, and the credits behind it

The AI website builder works from a prompt. Describe the business and the style you want, and it generates pages, text and images that you can then edit by hand. Hostinger says the same prompting can also build simple web apps and tools. Anything more ambitious belongs in a dedicated app builder such as Lovable.

That prompt-based building runs on AI credits, and here the plans are thin. Premium includes 5 credits and the other two plans 15, as a one-time welcome gift that doesn't renew monthly. You can top up when they run out. The drag-and-drop editor doesn't need credits, so a site can be finished and maintained without them.

Smaller AI tools sit inside the editor: a writer for headlines and page copy, a logo maker, and a generator that writes product titles and descriptions for online stores. Hostinger Agent, the company's AI assistant, helps manage the site and answers support questions. Cloud Startup adds 20 credits for specialized helpers covering SEO, marketing and content.

Free trial, guarantee and the fine print

There's no free plan for a permanent site, but you can try the builder free for 14 days. Paid plans have a 30-day money-back guarantee and can be cancelled anytime.

Two freebies expire. The domain is free for the first year on yearly or longer plans, and not every domain ending qualifies. Mailboxes are free for a year with 1 GB of storage each, then renew at $0.59 a month per mailbox.

Selling online

Unlimited and Cloud Startup include ecommerce for physical products, digital downloads and services. On Premium, Hostinger Ecommerce is an add-on that costs $1 for the first three months and then $8.99 a month. Store owners also get an AI assistant for building or managing the shop. Unlimited adds Hostinger Reach for email marketing campaigns.

Hostinger's builder or WordPress?

The builder is the simpler path: no plugins, no theme updates and fewer ways to break the site. WordPress is more flexible and easier to move between hosts, but it asks more of you. Designers who want precise control over layout and a structured CMS should look at Webflow AI, or Framer for marketing pages, both at a much higher monthly price.

For a café, a consultant or a local service business that needs five clear pages and a contact form, Premium works out to about $36 a year during its first term. Just pick the term with the renewal date in mind.
